Stances in Dark Souls 3 grant the player special attacks with the Weapons they wield. The Ready Stance for example allows you to hold the Straight Sword in two hands and rush forward dealing significant damage and "guard breaking" enemies. It is not yet known just how many Stances there are, or if each Weapon will have it's own unique Stance.
